因此刚性防水屋面主要适用于防水等级为III级的屋面防水，也可用作I、II级屋面多道防水设防中的一道防水层；不适用于设有松散保温层的屋面、大跨度和轻型屋盖的屋面，以及受振动或冲击的建筑屋面。而且刚性防水层的节点部位应与柔性材料复合使用，才能保证防水的可靠性。
